Im in cell/molecule biology I have some couple questions:

1, What are triglycerides? Why are triglycerides not found in biological membranes?

2, What are steroids? What properties of steroid cause it to be categorized with lipids?

Membrain structure question:

3, Draw and label a plasma membrane containing phospholipid, integral protein, and peripheral proteins attached to another protein and to a lipid. Why would exposing this membrane to a hydrophobic solvent disrupt its structure? Explain how it would affect the lipid and the proteins.

4, Why would cell die under each of the following conditions:

a, the plasma membrane becomes too fluid

b, the plasma membrane becomes too viscous

c, the plasma membrane lacks the protein component
