M4A1 Short Paper: Role of Emotions in Conflict
Employees can react to events or situations very differently. Depending
on background, training, or experience, an individual might react in a
poised and confident manner, or an agitated and irritated manner.

During this course, you will prepare and submit a number of short
papers, 3–5 pages in length, on a series of topics posted by the
instructor. These papers are an opportunity for you to respond to an
issue drawn from the reading for the module, and to present your point
of view.
The paper must be formatted according to the APA standards (6th Edition) including the title and reference page.
Short Papers MUST include the following sections:
Title Page: Include name, paper title, course title, instructor’s name, and date.
Introduction: Discuss the purpose of the paper in succinct,
declarative sentences. The introduction should offer a preview of the
paper, its value, and be based upon the concepts studied in the course.
Content: This section should include 3 elements: (a) a brief
examination of the issue, concept, or consequences of actions taken, (b)
the concepts or theoretical applications that pertain to this topic,
and (c) a discussion of your position on this topic, supporting your
argument from the text or other appropriate sources. It is highly
recommended that you make use of appropriate headings to guide your
reader.
Conclusion: Include a summative paragraph which includes a restatement of key points in your discussion.
References: A minimum of two references (not including your text)
MUST be used to support your discussion. Document all sources according
to the APA format (6th Edition)
