A fire destroyed the offices of the Bell &
Stringer accounting firm, causing thousands of dollars of damages. Fire
Department Inspectors determined that the fire began with the firm’s newest
computer, which was manufactured by Waldon Corporation. Bell& Stringer have
started a lawsuit against Waldon alleging a product liability claim based on
negligence theory and another product liability claim based on a strict
liability theory. For each claim explain what Casey and Stringer will have to
prove to succeed on both claims.
